April, 2016: Fall BBQ, Blues & Brews Festival Raises Funds for Local Area Non-Profit

Colorado Springs – Special Kids Special Families will once again host their 2nd Annual BBQ, Blues and Brews Festival to raise funds to for the organization’s premier respite program for children with disabilities, called Zach’s Place.  The program is the only childcare facility with the focus and training to provide care to children with physical, emotional and intellectual disabilities in the Pikes Peak Region.  The event will include several BBQ, food, drink and beer vendors as well as bands donating their performances for the festival.

Where: Gold Hill Mesa Community Center Park; 142 S. Raven Mine Dr., Colorado Springs

When: Friday, September 9, 2016; 5:00pm to 9:30pm

Cost:  A $10 donation at the entrance is requested to support Zach’s Place Program
