14th Annual Bowl for the Green Bowl-A-Thon benefits adults with developmental disabilities
February 27, 2023, Colorado Springs, CO – Special Kids Special Families 14th Annual Bowl for the Green Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser will be held on Saturday, March 11th from 2:30-4:30pm at King Pin Lanes at 3410 N Academy Blvd. in Colorado Springs. Because it’s a St. Patrick’s Day themed event, SKSF encourages everyone to don their Irish green! The Colorado Springs community, SKSF staff, and local businesses look forward to this fun event every year. All proceeds will help support SKSF programs for adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Contest and drawing prizes will be awarded throughout the event with fun themed giveaways for every participant. SKSF is still seeking sponsorships & online registration is required.
“Every year is exciting for our clients and families that participate in this event. They all have so much fun and we get to mingle with the Colorado Springs community and businesses that support our organization. It’s a great event,” says Dionna Lanich, Adult Services Program Director.
Special Kids Special Families promotes, strengthens, and supports individuals with disabilities, their families, and caregivers. These beneficial programs teach individuals life skills in the community and in SKSF centers in addition program participants learn socialization skills and expand their levels of independence through fun educational activities.
