Bluegrass, Brews & Brats

Saturday, June 23, 2018 @5:00pm - 9:00pm

Special Kids Special Families invites you to participate in our annual BBB – Bluegrass, Brews & Brats fundraising event as a sponsor, guest or donor (donate gift to our drawing).  Enjoy local bluegrass bands – Acme Bluegrass Band and WireWood Station, brew tastings, great food and socialize with friends.  Come have some fun all for a great cause.  Proceeds help support programming for children and adults with disabilities.

Members of WWS have toured internationally including stages in Europe, Israel, South America, Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, Red Rocks, Branson Theaters to Nashville Studios. WWS has opened for Charlie Daniels and the Marshall Tucker Band to name a few.  WireWood Station loves to give their  audiences an infectious brew of tight harmonies and driving instrumentals for a foot stompin’ good time!

Acme Bluegrass is a Colorado Springs based band that loves to perform high energy, hard driving acoustic entertainment. With local icon, John Ramsey on banjo, transplanted native Les Irvin on mandolin, and New Mexico transplants Sebie and Tracy Denson on bass and guitar, this four piece sings and plays with the spirit of true hillbillies. The band plays a music mix of traditional and contemporary bluegrass with some diversity from artists like Chuck Berry, Bob Dylan and, of course, the king – Elvis.

FEATURED BREWERIES:  Taste great beers from these participating breweries…

If you are interested in participating as a brewery, sponsor or donor, please contact us at or call Susan Saksa at 719-447-8983.
