Respite care can provide numerous benefits to families, particularly those caring for individuals with special needs, chronic illnesses, disabilities, or aging family members. By using SKSF services, families can bring their loved ones to either Zach’s Place child and respite care center or SKSF Adult Day Program and seek the relief they need from caregiving which is often 24/7. Our services provide educational opportunities, life skills learning and social interactions. Caregivers have peace of mind knowing their loved ones are cared for. Any taxpayer that makes a cash contribution to Special Kids Special Families designated to Zach’s Place may claim an income tax credit of 50% of the total contribution.
