October 29, 2021, Colorado Springs, CO: Going above & beyond is what these parents and children at Renaissance Expeditionary Magnet School – Parent Crew Foundation in Castle Rock did for Special Kids Special Families foster care children. With a very generous donation, families from the school put together 80 duffle bags containing blankets, hats, gloves, socks, toiletries and stuffed animals. These were given to children currently in SKSF foster care. This donation will help the children make the transition to their foster homes a bit easier and with some comfort.

“We are grateful for this donation and are amazed at the generosity of theses families,” says the Director of SKSF’s Child Placement Agency, Sandra Dunlap. “With these donations, we can be assured that kids can feel a little more at home and be comforted during a difficult transition.”
