IN-KIND DONATION FORM
Would you like to make an In-Kind Donation to SKSF?
Please fill out this form if you would like to donate an item to be used in upcoming event drawings or silent auctions, program activities, or for respite/client support. In-kind donations refer to the contribution of goods, services or non-monetary assets rather than giving monetarily.
Examples of in-kind donations include:
- Goods: Physical items such as clothing, food, medical supplies, books, gift cards, gift certificates, furniture, and other tangible products.
- Services: Professional services or expertise provided without charge, such as legal advice, consulting, healthcare services, or educational programs.
- Equipment: Donating equipment, machinery, or tools that can be used for specific purposes, such as computers, vehicles, or construction materials.
- Space: Offering the use of facilities or space for events, meetings, or programs without charging rent.
In-kind donations are valuable to us as they provide essential resources and support to help raise funds for our programs and support program activities.
In order to comply with IRS Code Section 170 (f)(8), we are affirming to you for your records as a donor that Special Kids Special Families provided no goods or services in consideration, in whole or in part, for the property contributed by you. The IRS recommends identifying your property’s fair market value (FMV) before determining how much you may deduct for property that you contribute. According to the IRS, fair market value is the price that property would sell for on the open market. It’s the price that would be agreed on between a buyer and a willing seller.
We will acknowledge your donation with a thank you letter to keep with your tax records. Special Kids Special Families is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit recognized by the IRS. Your gift is tax deductible as allowed by law. Tax ID# 84-1476535.
