Special Kids Special Families is a Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment (CDPHE) Approved Training Entity and offers Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) courses monthly for Support Staff and Host Home Providers caring for individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Fridays, start 8:30am (bring your own lunch 11:30-12:30p). All classes include Universal/Standard Precautions. End time depends on class size (usually 3:00pm). Classes limited to 10 persons. Course materials need to be downloaded/printed and review sections completed BEFORE attending class. Bring your course materials with you to class. Once registered and PAID, course study materials will be sent via email. We cannot print the manual for you at our location.
Register online. Payment processed via Paypal (you do not need a Paypal account to make payment). All credit cards accepted. We do not accept ‘WALK-INs’ – you MUST pre-register online and payment received to be enrolled.
If you need to cancel your class after you have registered, please contact Kathy at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 719-372-4746 or 719-447-8983. Please be reminded that cancellations, if necessary, will be accepted up to one week prior to the class date with a full refund. No partial or full refunds will be granted later than one week prior to class. (Extenuating circumstances may be reviewed on a case by case basis with approval from the Executive Director). If SKSF cancels a training course, full refunds will be given or an alternate date will be scheduled with priority given to previously enrolled persons.
