Special Kids Special Families would like to welcome Stephanie Cox to the SKSF Board of Directors! Stephanie is a Marketing Director for Atlas Post Acute. She has been working in Marketing for over 15 years and moved to Colorado in 2021 with her husband from Auburn, AL. Like most Coloradans she loves hiking and in her free time she enjoys traveling, reading, and finding new restaurants to dine at in Southern Colorado. For the third year in a row, the Turner Construction Company - Denver Business Unit visited our adult clients for a day full of hard work in the garden and an ice cream social! This year, the team made major improvements to the garden space by upgrading flooring and building three new wheelchair-accessible garden features. These additions include a brand-new raised garden bed where clients can dig, plant, and water more comfortably than ever, along with two sensory garden units filled with touch-friendly and scent-friendly plants for ALL clients to enjoy and explore.![]()
