Zach’s Place Scores Hole-in-One with Generous Golfers

December 17, 2019: Att 4:00pm today, Zach’s Place for children will host a check presentation ceremony along with Unified Title Company. A check totaling ,000 will be presented to Linda Ellegard, Executive Director of Special Kids Special Families. The money was raised by Unified Title Company during a charity golf tournament at Perry Park Country Club in Larkspur in early September. The funds will help children, families and caregivers who use Zach’s Place, Special Kids Special Families’ founding program.

This was the sixth year in a row that Unified Title Company has held its day-long fundraising golf tournament raising over $70,000 to support SKSF programs for children with disabilities.  Brian Cooper, President of Unified Title Company, said “we are honored to be able to put on this special event to benefit Zach’s Place. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Special Kids Special Families going forward.”

Zach’s Place is located at the Laurie Hillyard Family Center, 4795 Granby Circle in Colorado Springs. It is one of only two licensed day care providers in the state of Colorado with the focus and training to provide both respite and day care for children with intellectual, physical and emotional disabilities.
