October 13, 2020: It’s a WRAP! Special Kids Special Families successfully raised over ,000 to help support Zach’s Place center for children with disabilities and special needs. During their 9th Annual Night of Comedy signature fundraising event held on Saturday, October 11, 2020, SKSF staff along with assistance from Chris Baldwin of Graham River Productions, pulled off their first ever virtual live event! With great success they were able to meet their goal through their online auction and donations received throughout the event. “We were very surprised that everyone came together to make this happen,” says Linda Ellegard, SKSF Executive Director. “This was just an idea a few months ago, since COVID-19 caused us to cancel our in-person event. We are so happy that this virtual event went so smoothly and we appreciate everyone that participated in making this happen.” Be sure to save the date for next year’s signature event being held at Hotel Elegante and Conference Center on Saturday, October 16th, 2021.
