SKSF’s holds it’s 12th Annual Bowl-A-Thon event benefiting adults with developmental disabilities

September 18, 2021, Colorado Springs, CO: Because of the pandemic restrictions in early March of 2021, Special Kids Special Families rescheduled their traditional St. Patrick’s Day themed Bowl-A-Thon and held their 12th Annual Bowl-A-Thon fundraiser on Saturday, September 11th from 2:30-5pm at King Pin Lanes at 3410 N Academy Blvd. in Colorado Springs.  With over ,000 raised for SKSF programs for adults with developmental disabilities and their families – this was the most successful Bowl-A-Thon event in it’s 12 years!

With a Patriot’s Day theme, SKSF encouraged everyone to wear red, white and blue colors proudly!  Participants included various members of the Colorado Springs community, SKSF staff & board members, local businesses & sponsors. Contest and drawing prizes were awarded throughout the event and fun themed giveaways were given to every participant.
