March 15, 2023, Colorado Springs, CO – Special Kids Special Families Bowl for the Green fundraising event was a huge success!  Held on Saturday 3/11, SKSF’s 14th Annual Bowl for the Green Bowl-A-Thon event raised over ,000 to support SKSF’s Adult Day Program. Thanks to Carol Doan, owner of King Pin Lanes for accommodating the organization as they took over the whole bowling alley occupying every lane! Many area businesses, volunteers and bowlers came out to support the event which included a goody bag to every bowler, contest prizes and great drawing packages.  With the St. Patrick’s Day theme, everyone donned their favorite Irish green outfits.   Sponsors included NuStar Energy, Blazer Electric, Colorado Springs Commercial, Disability Services of Colorado, Koscove Metal, Leavitt Group, PASCO, Shield Healthcare, Diversus Health, PDC Pharmacy, The Vinton Law Firm, Autosearch USA, K9 Companions, Kids Care Home Health, and Shandy Clinic.  The community looks forward to this fun fundraising event every year.  Next year’s event is already scheduled at King Pin Lanes on Saturday, March 16, 2024 – so Save The Date!  Check out more event photos here… https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.9168827556490912&type=3
