Comfort Cases For Foster Care Children in Transition

February 23, 2024, Colorado Springs, CO – Did you know that 1 child every 2 minutes is placed in foster care! The Special Kids Special Families Foster Care team was present at this wonderful collaborative event presented by Colorado Community Health Alliance (CCHA) and Comfort Cases. Colorado Community Health Alliance partnered with Comfort Cases and the YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region to make the event possible.

Volunteers were instructed to hug each stuffed animal before placing them inside of the backpack.
