Adult Services Day Program – New Enrollment
Welcome to our Adult Services Day Programs!
Welcome to SKSF Adult Services! We are so excited about your interest in our adult programs!
Special Kids Special Families provides individualized adult services designed to support adults with disabilities in building independence, developing meaningful relationships, exploring personal interests, and engaging in their communities. Through programs such as Joey’s Place, Building Connections, and community-based supports, we create opportunities for individuals to participate in meaningful activities, develop life skills, strengthen social connections, and pursue personal goals in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Our person-centered approach focuses on each individual’s unique strengths, interests, needs, and goals. We partner with individuals, families, and support teams to create opportunities that promote choice, independence, personal growth, and meaningful community involvement.
To begin the enrollment process, we ask all interested families complete an inquiry form. This helps us better understand the prospective client’s support needs and services they are looking for. Please note: completing this form does not guarantee enrollment. After we receive your inquiry, a member of our team will contact you to schedule a tour and discuss next steps.
During the tour, you’ll have the opportunity to:
- Walk through our facility
- Learn more about the services you’re most interested in
- Meet with our team to discuss the client’s needs and goals.
The tour and conversation last approximately 1 hour. We ask that the prospective client is in attendance for this tour. Our staff will take the time to get to know them, answer questions, and help them feel comfortable with our team and services.
What happens after the tour? Within one week, a member of our team will reach out to let you know if we believe our services can meet your support needs. If we both determine that SKSF is a good fit, we will work with you to begin the process of updating your service plan with your Case Management Agency (TRE). Once everyone is aligned and your service plan is updated, we will continue with the enrollment process!
Our team is committed to partnering with individuals, families, and support teams every step of the way to ensure each person has the opportunity to grow, connect, and achieve their highest level of independence.
