Leading The Way Contributors

This page is in honor, recognition, and celebration of the generosity of our most significant contributors. These remarkable individuals and organizations have donated $5,000 or more over their lifetime, playing a vital role in advancing the mission of Special Kids Special Families.* Their contributions help us continue providing essential services to children and families with special needs, and we are deeply grateful for their unwavering commitment to making a difference.

2024 is a special year for Special Kids Special Families as we celebrate our silver anniversary celebrating 25 years serving the Pikes Peak Community! A lot sure has changed in the past 25 years…

Here’s just a few notable changes:

  • When SKSF launched we started with a handful of staff / we now have grown to 70 dedicated staff
  • We had no vehicles / we now have 16 vehicles providing rides to essential appointments and community activities
  • We only had 1 program – Zach’s Place / now we provide more than 10 dynamic and wide ranging critical service offerings
  • We served less than 50 clients / now we provide services to 700+ amazing clients!

One thing that has remained for 25 years, and will continue far beyond, is our commitment to making this the best community in the nation for individuals with disabilities, their families and caregivers by offering high-quality, compassionate, wraparound care.

While there’s no denying a LOT has changed, one thing that will NEVER change—Special Kids Special Families dedication to serving individuals living with a disability and the caregivers by their side! For 25 years SKSF has championed their cause of making this community the best in the nation by promoting, strengthening, and supporting in innovative and critical ways.

We strive to ensure that those served benefit from high-quality, competitively priced, caring services that allow for everyone to safely, healthy, inclusively, and with dignity develop to become all that’s possible for them to be. Our vision is to provide people in need with the resources, compassion, and freedom to achieve the life that everyone deserves.

In this milestone 25th year of celebration, we also celebrate our LEADING THE WAY Contributors! We acknowledge the following contributors as donating over $5k to SKSF throughout the years.
